Local rugby club enhance their training and play safety thanks to community grant
Gosford All Blacks successfully applied for the Legacy Leisure Community Fund and were donated £1090 towards new kit to replace their current, worn-out equipment. The new items purchased included hit shields, weighted half tackle bags of varying weights and shields for their training sessions held at Stratfield Brake Sports ground in Kidlington. By receiving this donation it has removed the barrier created by a limited budget, enabling the club to buy what they need.
The kit will enable the club to build upon the quality of training by the Gosford All Blacks mens, womens and youth teams and will ensure that the player’s safety is not compromised! The club hopes that through this investment will not only help to retain and support existing members but entice new members too.
